Information we collect

We collect information you provide when you create an account, join an office, manage a membership, submit a support request, record an order or expense, or upload supporting documentation. This can include your name, email address, office membership, department, membership status, office pricing, transaction history, order details, recipient names, office and shipping addresses, delivery instructions and support content.

Payments

Stripe processes live online contributions and payment-method setup. Work For Coffee stores payment and subscription identifiers, amounts, status, dates and related transaction records to manage membership, credit contributions and reconcile payments. Full payment card numbers and banking credentials are handled by the payment provider rather than stored in Work For Coffee’s application database.

How we use information

We use information to provide the service, associate you with the correct office, calculate Club Pot activity, display membership and payment status, fulfill store orders, send invitations, payment receipts and order updates, process support requests, maintain security, prevent misuse and improve reliability.

Who can see office information

Access is role-based. Office hosts, authorized co-hosts and administrators can see the financial, membership and delivery information needed to manage their offices and orders. Staff members have more limited access and do not receive unrestricted access to coworkers' private payment details or email addresses. Service providers may process information when needed to host, secure or operate the app.

Data sharing and sale

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers that help operate the product, including payment processing, hosting, transactional email and order delivery. Shipping contacts and addresses may be shared with fulfillment providers and carriers as needed to deliver orders. We may also share information when required by law, or when necessary to protect users, the service or others from fraud, abuse or security threats.

Retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, preserve financial history, resolve disputes, meet legal obligations and maintain security. We use access controls and other reasonable safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Browser storage

The app uses browser storage to keep you signed in and remember office selections. A pending checkout may temporarily store its cart, delivery details and request reference in session storage so a refresh or network interruption can be retried without creating a duplicate order. That pending record is removed when the order is confirmed or the request is rejected.

Your choices

You can update certain profile information in the app and use the password-recovery flow to regain access to your account. For questions about your account, data or an office membership, use the Support page.

Children

Work For Coffee is intended for workplace use and is not designed for children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product changes. The updated date at the top of this page will show when the policy was revised.
